“An absolutely amazing restaurant, on par if not better than other local places like the Red Wood Cafe in Modesto or the Market Tavern in Stockton! A Matter of Taste brings unique made from scratch dishes that are expertly crafted, served in a wonderful atmosphere! We had the fish tacos and chicken piccata, with pretzels as an hors d'oeuvre, and had their chocolate cake and blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Don't sleep on their house made desserts which are amazing! Hands down. Best cheesecake I've ever had, and I've tried a lot of cheesecakes! Not only is the food amazing, but it can't be beat at this very reasonable price point! The service was also impeccable, big thanks to our server Dean! My wife and I will be coming back for a fancy date night soon!”
