Pet Policy

At A Matter of Taste, we’re not just pet-friendly—we’re pet lovers. We believe your dining experience should feel like home, and for many of our guests, that includes their dog.

Our patio is open to well-behaved dogs during brunch and dinner service. If you're dining with your pet, please use the patio entrance located at the back of the restaurant. Our team will greet you with water bowls and a comfortable place to settle in.

To help us maintain a relaxing and welcoming space for all guests, we kindly ask:

• Dogs must remain leashed and beside you at all times.

• Dogs may not sit on laps, chairs, or tables—regardless of size.

• Pets may not eat from your plate or drink from your glass. We’re happy to provide their own water bowl.

• Begging, biting, excessive barking, or disruptive behavior may require early departure.

• Service animals are always welcome indoors, in accordance with California Health & Safety Code §114259.5.

This patio is one of our most beloved spaces—quiet, thoughtful, and designed for unhurried meals. And, if you're in luck, you might even spot our resident hummingbirds and butterflies during your visit!.
