Jamaican Jerk Seasoning

Perfect for chicken, pork, and fish, this aromatic blend of herbs and spices will bring the flavors of Jamaica to your kitchen.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon dried parsley

2 teaspoons paprika

2 teaspoons ground allspice

2 teaspoons ground black pepper

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well combined.

Transfer the jerk seasoning to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place. This rub can be kept for up to 6 months.
